"The Silent Prayer of Magnetic Field" Is realtime audio synthesis performance based on re-contextualization of the symbolism embedded within identity matrix. Yarn lattice that is based on patterns found in Keffiyeh is embedded with one hundred magnetic rings. The magnetic field of the lattice is analyzed in real time by magnetic resonance sensor. Music is generated based on the values of the magnetic filed in the custom PD patch on the IPHONE.

In Transition

As technology permits faster modes of spatial displacement, individual is forced into only partial dissection of visual stimuli. Perception of the visual space theretofore becomes a function of the speed of information gathered. "In Transition" is a metaphorical "map" of the inhibited spatial anomaly that is by-product of the abundance of information stimuli. It is a visual representation of my personal memory as I stare at the alien landscape of the world that seems to speed up around me.

God=Noise

"Jewish mysticism depicts the Tree of Life in the form of ten interconnected nodes, as the central symbol of the Kabbalah. It comprises the ten Sephirot powers in the Divine realm. The panentheistic and anthropomorphic emphasis of this emanationist theology interpreted the Torah, Jewish observance, and the purpose of Creation as the symbolic esoteric drama of unification in the Sephirot, restoring harmony to Creation." - Wikipedia

"God=Noise" is an attempt at re-contextualization of symbolic mysticism and it's application of it's principals to audio visual synthesis. The sound generation is handled by real-time synthesis of audio harmonies based on white noise generator that is hooked into audio patch environment that is based on visual representation of "Tree of Life" Viewer is asked to ware a ring with three dimensional accelerometer build-in. Their movements are translated into the symbolic gesture system that is translated into the parameters of both visual and audio synthesis. Project was done in MAX6 (Jitter) and Audiomulch (Audio Synthesis)

Self Deconstruction

The process of self disambiguation can be seen as deconstruction of ego matrix by application of external stimuli and their consequent analysis. Self Deconstruction is five minute real-time audio installation that employ's contact microphones attached to the body of the performer. His movement are recorded as an audio-wave. The feedback to the controlling mechanism is formed by application of Neurosky EEG sensor that controls parameters of the audio synthesis.

Invisible Beast

Can the act of subversion be an act of reverence? How can we define when act of reverence becomes an act of subversion? By what merits can we judge any act. The only possible system of judgment that is available for assessment of the space and any act that happen within the space is based on relational observation and the ability of the mind to draw logical relations between seemingly disjointed occurrences. Such system is inherently exist within the state of constant flux and is an antithesis of dogma. The process of behavioral assessment within the context of society on the other hand is defined by semi rigid set of rules that rely on dogma like set of instructions. With such inherited dualism of assessment an action can be both subversive and reverent.

Two vibration detection sensors are secured to the bottom of the antique prayer bowl. Using wooden and felt tip striker, the viewer creates and stops vibration of the prayer bowl. Standing waves that are the product of interaction are analyzed and translated into visualizations of String Theory. Music score is based on the mapping of the vibrations caused by the prayer bowl to the MIDI notes. The resulting information is used in audio synthesis.2 Iteration 2AVimeo Video: 84408124

Life recording of my latest installation. Buddhist Prayer Bowl is used as a controller. Peak frequency values are translated into MIDI notes and processed in MAX MSP. Jitter creates life drawing based on the MIDI values. Wave Symphony – Telemetry of Rising Waters

Telemetry is a technology that allows data measurements to be made at a distance.[1] The word is derived from Greek roots: tele = remote, and metron = measure. Systems that need external instructions and data to operate require the counterpart of telemetry, telecommand. Although the term commonly refers to wireless data transfer mechanisms (e.g. using radio, hypersonic or infrared systems), it also encompasses data transferred over other media such as a telephone or computer network, optical link or other wired communications like phase line carriers. Many modern telemetry systems take advantage of the low cost and ubiquity of GSM networks by using SMS to receive and transmit telemetry data.

Wave symphony is real time performance and interactive installation based on the wave measurements from buoy station network.

Screen grab of interactive performance that was on display at White Box Gallery, NYC. There are 99 particles that represent 99 percent of the population of United States . The movement and sound is generated by a "Conductor", a viewer of the installation. His location and distance from the screen is translated into particle movement. Each of the qr code have X+$=0 encoded, as the symbolic reference to pseudo logic of disjointed economy structure and is a reference to endemic collapse of the western value systems.
